ADHD Coaching

Painting on a Huge Canvas

"I wish I had known that I wasn't lazy..."

What if you could honour your unique brain wiring and create a truly fulfilling life fuelled by your true strengths, values and passion?
What is ADHD coaching and how can it help?

ADHD coaching isn’t one-size-fits-all, nor is it a ‘fix-you’ solution—it’s about meeting you where you are, embracing the highs and lows that come with ADHD, the full spectrum of your ADHD experience.

Coaching helps you understand your unique brain wiring and self. We'll identify personalised strategies and resources that honour your strengths, interests, values, and struggles, helping you to navigate daily life and challenges and reframe past experiences through your ADHD lens. Whether your version of bold is realising big dreams, getting unstuck on the smaller stuff, or both! I create a safe and trusted space to find clarity, meaning, and build an “operating manual” and path forward towards your goals, that is as unique as you are.

IS ADHD Coaching for you?

People come to ADHD coaching for the same reasons they come to executive and leadership coaching: to grow, improve their quality of life, self acceptance, build relationships and achieve their goals.

I work with adults who are diagnosed, self-diagnosed, or exploring how ADHD impacts their lives. If you’re open to coaching, excited about new possibilities, and ready for change, this is for you. This includes parents navigating ADHD with a child or partners supporting a loved one with ADHD.

I specialize in working with high-functioning, purpose-driven leaders—professionals, entrepreneurs, and solopreneurs. True leadership isn’t about titles; it’s about trust, connection, empowerment, and authenticity. Coaching helps you harness your strengths, tackle challenges, and carve out a path that’s uniquely yours.

how may adhd affect daily life?

Regardless of whether you have a diagnosis or not, does this sound familiar?

No two ADHD'ers are alike but you’ve no doubt achieved things you're proud of despite unknowingly having worked 20 times harder to get there. Whether a major life event has made your well-honed strategies less effective or you’re looking to better understand how ADHD impacts your life, some of these challenges may sound familiar.

  • Inconsistent performance: You can excel and produce outstanding work one day but not the next, you may thrive in your career but struggle to complete everyday tasks or admin.

  • Executive functioning challenges: Initiating those mundane or important but low interest tasks and making decisions can feel overwhelming, only adding to the pressure.

  • Time perception issues: Misjudging how long tasks take, may often result in the frustration of not being able to do more or near missing deadlines.

  • Innovative problem-solving: Your creativity fuels fresh ideas, but traditional work or academic settings may feel constraining to your approach.

  • Feeling 'different': You might often feel a disconnect from those around you, leading to a sense of not belonging and isolation.

  • Overcommitting in enthusiasm: Your eagerness to embrace new opportunities can sometimes result in over committing or compulsive decision making.

  • Motivation challenges: While last-minute deadlines may ignite your drive, constantly relying on them to get things done, can create unnecessary pressure.

  • Feelings of unfulfilled potential: Even with your list of achievements, the weight and expectation of what you 'could have achieved' can impact your self-esteem. You might feel frustration because you have something to offer, but it seems like no one wants to know.

  • Emotional regulation: Understanding or navigating your big feelings can often be particularly challenging, affecting your daily experience or result in being misunderstood by others, impacting relationships.

  • Home and personal administration challenges: While you may thrive professionally, managing household tasks and personal organization can feel overwhelming at times.

"At the heart of neurodiversity is the recognition that conditions like autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and others are not inherently disordered or defective. Instead, they represent different ways of experiencing and interacting with the world. While these conditions may present challenges in certain areas, they are also accompanied by strengths and talents that deserve recognition and support". David Giwerc, MCC, MCAC, ADDCA Founder
